NurburgMotorsport–“Arrive and Race” - the one-stop motor sport solution.VLN is the acronym for Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring, or The Association of Organisers’ of the Endurance Racing Cup on the Nürburgring. The VLN series is closely associated with the 24 Hours Nürburgring, as it has similar rules. Participants of VLN races range from first time car enthusiasts in small road legal cars with roll cages and harnesses to professional factory teams racing ex-DTM cars, or Porsche 996 GT3 RSR as in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and similar races. A range of different classes’ means that race entrants can simply choose to compete at any levels in order to make best use of their own financial budgets. Based at Quiddelbach, approximately 2 miles from the Nürburgring, NurburgMotorsport has experience of VLN racing at all levels on the world acclaimed Nürburgring. We understand what is needed to develop and maintain a VLN race car to its optimum and to then to go on to win.
As a winning VLN Racing Team Manger Manfred Scheer, a former mechanic on the Toyota World Rally Team, who also grew up at "The Ring" and who has worked as a Marshal on the Nürburgring for over 10 years, says “to be quick at the Nürburgring you need only three things, the correct tyres, good brakes and a perfect car setup – this is what we have proved we can deliver to our drivers”.
Sadly, some people have found their first experience of a major VLN event at the Nürburgring daunting; others have had bad personal / financial experiences. You can be assured that whatever project we undertake our clients always receive the very best attention from skilled, experienced and enthusiastic personnel, so as to reduce these risks and maximize all the rewards for the thrill of a life time!
The unique concept of the strategy of racing on the Nürburgring with its ever changing conditions makes choosing a whole range of variables most challenging. For instance the correct time to make a pit stop, the correct interpretation of target lap times, brake and weight balance and most important driver communications, etc can be particularly difficult to master, even for some experienced motorsport enthusiasts.
The other main benefit that NurburgMotorsport can offer is that the driver(s) can concentrate on just racing with our tailor made “Arrive and Race” package. The driver(s) time commitment is considerably less as we have all the expertise and resources for preparing and setting up race cars for the world’s most challenging and historic Racing circuit. The driver(s) can enjoy first class support whilst at the same time removing the headaches of day to day management leaving them to concentrate on the other main business of the day – driving for that race win and points!
NurburgMotorsport is able to tailor a race program to suit most driver(s) budget. For instance a maximum of four drivers can take part on Race days and therefore share costs accordingly. The company can provide a wide range of services including:-

The Team Manager will be in attendance throughout the racing weekend to brief the team before the event starts, to control practice and qualifying sessions, right through to race day "pit wall" support and of course overall race strategy. We take care of Race Team compliance with motorsport regulatory requirements and managing logistics and resourcing, setting up vehicles to match track and weather conditions, holding debriefings with the Race Team to look at what worked well and where to make improvements and carrying out ‘after-tests’ on vehicles at the end of races to look for signs of damage or any item on the car which need further attention can be carried out by our English speaking Engineers all based in our own local workshop and garages. “We recognize the importance and uniqueness of motorsport at the Nurburgring. Success here is not just a matter of having the fastest car or the aptitude to drive the fastest; it has to be a complete team effort throughout” says owner Ken Harris.” Our Team Management always wants to try to win and understanding how you can win at the Nurburgring is the “real value” that we offer our drivers.”
